Welcome to NET (New Evangelization Television). NET has a diverse array of faith-centered programming for all ages. Currents, premiering June 1st, is a half-hour news magazine program telling stories of people of faith from around the block and around the world. Founded in 2009 in Brooklyn, New York, we are the first daily Catholic news program. Currents combination of exclusive interviews and features provides unique insight to inform viewers and strengthen them in their faith. Francesca Maxime is a seasoned journalist with over a decade of experience. She graduated from Harvard University in 1994 with a degree in English Literature. She began her journalism career in her hometown of Boston as an intern for WCVB, and soon got a Weekend Anchor job at WIVT in Binghamton, NY. Francesca then worked as a Reporter and Anchor in various northeast cities, including Philadelphia, Boston, Hartford, and Syracuse.
