Neversoft Entertainment

Neversoft was founded in 1994 by three former employees of Malibu Interactive. Neversoft teamed up initially with Playmates Interactive Entertainment (a division of Playmates Toys) to develop a title based on the toy line "Skeleton Warriors." That was just the beginning. Soon after, Neversoft was developing titles for Crystal Dynamics and Sony Computer Entertainment. But it wasnt until the beginning of 1998 that Neversoft teamed up with Activision to work on the title "Apocalypse." This began the relationship that would soon end up being a permanent partnership, when Activision purchased Neversoft in 1999. Neversoft operates out of a 50,000 square foot space located in the Warner Center area of Woodland Hills, California.
