New Art Center

The New Art Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting artistic creation and education through classes, exhibitions and public programs. At the New Art Center, we nurture childrens creativity, encourage emerging artists, develop teaching opportunities and enrich the community through exhibitions. The Center educates over 1,800 students annually in classes and workshops, sustains a faculty of 40 professional artists, and operates one of the few mid-sized nonprofit exhibition spaces in New England. Our goals include increasing the understanding of the intellectual and practical tasks of creating art through hands-on experience, and expanding access to original works of art
