On April 1 2017, Tower Hamlets and Hackney Community College merged with Redbridge College, the merger is the second largest further education college in London and the eighth largest in the country. The 3-college group will retain their campuses in their respective boroughs, names and identities in a partnership of equals. Hackney Community College is an Ofsted rated Good college with outstanding features, based in east London. Its Shoreditch campus is located right in the heart of Hoxton, the vibrant home and workplace of the fashion and creative industries and on the doorstep of Europes fastest-growing technology hub, Tech City.
