New Mexico Museum of Space History

The New Mexico Museum of Space History (NMMSH) is a leading space exploration museum and planetarium headquartered in Alamogordo, New Mexico, U.S. The mission of the museum is to educate the people of New Mexico and our visitors from around the world in the history, science, and technology of space. It holds some of space explorations most prized artifacts and discoveries as well as commemorates New Mexicos role as a global powerhouse in space travel. Founded in 1976, the museum campus facility includes: the Museum of Space History, International Space Hall of Fame, John P. Stapp Air & Space Park, Daisy Track, Clyde W. Tombaugh Education Center, New Horizons Dome Theater and Planetarium, Astronaut Memorial Garden, and Hubbard Space Science Research Building.
