New Theatre Royal Lincoln

Reopened in 2016, under the aptly named New Theatre Royal Lincoln. The theatre has gone from strength to strength winning a Family Tourism Excellence Award for its variety of shows, seeing over 40 full houses in the first 18 months and welcoming over 90,000 people through the doors in that time too. The Theatre has significant architectural merit and is an important heritage asset for the City of Lincoln. Built in 1893 it is one of the few remaining Victorian traditional Proscenium Arch theatres of mid-scale size in the UK with a capacity of 475 seats
