New Zealand Community Trust (NZCT) raises money for amateur sport, the arts, education, health and the community by operating gaming machines in more than a 100 pubs and other venues around the country. Our annual enterprise revenue is circa $1.1 billion, which includes prizes to players (91c in every dollar on average), with net revenues of around $100 million and profits of around 40% per year. We are proud of the contribution we make and in 2021/22 we returned $39.2 million through over 1442 grants to a wide range of organisations. We couldnt do this without the help of our venue operators, who host the gaming machines in their pubs, hotels and other venues. NZCT venue operators not only manage the gaming machines, but they also ensure that the machines are played responsibly.
