NHLD - Kinnaird Law School

The Nadira Hassan Law Department (NHLD) was established in 2013 at Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore (est. 1913), under the auspices of the then Chief Justice of Pakistan, the honourable J. (R) Tassaduq Hussain Jillani and the then Chief Justice Lahore High Court J. (R) Umar Ata Bandial, along with esteemed Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, then senior Lahore High Court judge and now senior puisne Supreme Court judge, and Justice Jawad Hasan of the Lahore High Court. Kinnaird College for Women stands as the first women-only law school in Punjab, providing intensive legal study and research opportunities. The NHLD offers an extensive curriculum with a special emphasis on legal writing, drafting, advocacy, and legal argumentation.
