NHRDF, a society registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, was established on 3rd November 1977 with the prime objective of carrying out research and development work in horticultural crops, particularly onion and garlic. Its Head Office and registered office are located at Bagwani Bhavan, 47, Pankha Road, Institutional Area, Janakpuri, New Delhi.
