Ninevah University of (NU) was established in Feb. 2013 by parliamentary law No. 2/2014 issued on 3/2/2014. College of Electronic Engineering (CoEE) and the Ninevah College of Medicine (NCoM) was transferred from the University of Mosul and affiliated with the NU. Thus, the newly-established university has acquired two well-established and well-equipped colleges. However, the NU is striving for further developments towards excellence in teaching and research.
