NITK - Rotaract Club

The Rotaract Club of NITK is one of the socio-cultural clubs on campus, accredited by Rotary International, which was founded in 1962. Rotaract stands for Rotary in Action and is a global organization focused on leadership, community service, and personal development for young people between the ages of 18 and 30. The club organizes a variety of events in different areas, including social work, culture, arts, media, and literature, making it unique in hosting activities across all domains for both students and club members. Following Rotary Internationals motto, Service Above Self, the Rotaract Club of NITK aims to develop leadership skills in young adults, helping them grow as leaders in their communities and workplaces. Some of the clubs regular activities include visits to NGOs, cleanliness drives, and blood donation camps.
