Niveshak - Finance and Investment Club

Established in 2008 as the institutes first club, the finance club has progressively evolved into a strong platform for building a long-standing and mutually beneficial relationship between the corporates and the student community. The principal activities of the club are to publish a monthly magazine, organize finance knowledge sessions, conduct events and manage the Niveshak Investment Fund (NIF). NIF is a diversified equity portfolio that aims for growth through a focused and optimally diversified portfolio strategy; the fund aims to optimize the risk-adjusted return by building a portfolio of large and mid-cap stocks across sectors, selected as per a sector choice methodology developed by the members of the club.
