NKUA Medical School in its 185 years of operation provides an extremely high level of education producing research activity that ranks it among the 150 best in the world. Today, the school has 3,000 undergraduate and 5,000 postgraduate students and operates a total of 86 university clinics and laboratories located in Goudi, in University Hospitals (Attiko, Laiko, Aretaeio and Aeginitio) and in hospitals of the National Healthcare System (Ippokratio, Sotiria, Evangelismos, Alexandra, the Childrens Hospitals Aglaia Kyriakou and Agia Sofia, Gennimatas, Sismanoglio, Andreas Syngros, KAT and Agia Olga) offering daily a high level of comprehensive health services project in the Attica Region.
