NMB Capital Limited (NMBCL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of NMB Bank Limited, established as an independent merchant and investment banking arm of the Bank. NMBCL is licensed Securities Business Person, licensed by Securities Board of Nepal under Companys Act and Securities Act. The merchant banking function was an epitome specialization of NMB Bank for more than a decade before NMBCLs establishment. It was spin-off from the Bank as regulatory requirements for continuing the business, starting formal operations from September 17, 2010 as an independent entity. NMB as a group has managed more than 300 public issues and holds the prestige on its hat of managing major public issues of the country.
