NoMa Business Improvement District

Located at the heart of Washington, D.C., the NoMa Business Improvement District (NoMa BID) was created by the District of Columbia City Council and approved by the Mayor in March 2007. The NoMa BID is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization whose mission is to create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, workers, and visitors and to promote the redevelopment and growth of NoMa. Its main tasks include: Providing cleaning and safety services Promoting NoMa through marketing, unified branding, and free community events Coordinating public and private investments and services Enhancing the community through projects with NoMa neighbors The NoMa BID encompasses 35 blocks just north of Union Station.
