Nordisk Defence Club (Nordisk Skibsrederforening) was established in 1889 and is the worlds leading independent freight, demurrage and defence (FD&D) club. Our scope of legal services is much broader than at other clubs, and e.g. includes assisting members and other clients with drafting and negotiations shipbuilding contracts, charter parties, ship sale and purchase, ship finance, and more. We are a one stop shop! We safeguard our members and clients interests not only in relation to legal issues, but also in connection with commercial and strategic considerations. Nordisks policy is to resolve problems in a constructive manner through a combination of legal expertise and a practical approach.
