North of the River Recreation and Park District

Over 200 classes/programs are offered each year for public participation. Programs are conducted for all ages including preschoolers through senior citizens. NOR conducts after school sports programs for Standard, Beardsley, Fruitvale, Rosedale and Norris School Districts. Three District gymnasiums/recreation centers and three school gymnasiums are programmed on a joint use basis with school districts. Grant funds provide for a large senior program including two nutrition/program centers, senior and handicapped transportation programs, home delivery of meals and homemaker services
