North Shore Aero Club

Our club members have been building their own airfield with volunteer labour since 1963. It is now rated the third most important airfield in the greater Auckland region. Our simple mission statement is to foster all types of aviation services for commercial, private and student aviators, and aviation enthusiasts. There are approximately 150 aircraft of various types now based on the airfield and the number is increasing. It is not surprising the airfield is attracting new aircraft, as we believe it is located in one of the best flying environments in New Zealand. The pleasure of flying in uncongested skies while enjoying the beauty of the Waitemata Harbour and the islands of the Hauraki Gulf makes this one of the most enjoyable training areas in New Zealand.
