Northampton Active was founded in 2019 with the aim to provide unique and adventurous activities to the community, businesses and schools. As well as providing a venue for skill development and social gatherings. The Nene Whitewater Centre was the UKs first pumped, artificial whitewater course. Three pumps control the flow of water down the 300 metre whitewater course allowing the Centre to alter the courses difficulty and the skill levels required to paddle it.
