Founded in 1973, the Northeast Document Conservation Center (NEDCC) is the first nonprofit conservation center in the United States to specialize in the conservation and preservation of paper-based collections for museums, libraries, archives, historical societies, municipal and town records repositories, corporate archives, and private and family collections across the nation. NEDCC offers professional conservation treatment of books, photographs, maps, manuscripts, parchment, papyri, wallpaper, documents, and works of art on paper including Asian Art.
