Northern California National Bank

In 2005, a number of local farmers and business people noticed the lack of locally-owned and operated banks in Chico and surrounding communities. Pooling years of experience and individual success, the group committed to forming and building a true community bank that would provide high quality, hands on professional service to its customers. That vision became Northern California National Bank (NCNB). NCNB opened in Chico in March 2006 under the leadership of banking legend John Luchessi and an exceptional group of directors including the late Jim Paiva and Tom Dauterman, Wayne Erickson and Rich McGowan. Individually, they had already become successful in their respective fields, and together they developed a premier federally-chartered community bank.
