MISSION The Northern Ohio Youth Orchestra provides exceptional musical education through a variety of performance opportunities for young musicians of all backgrounds in an inclusive community of learning and growth. ABOUT US Now in its 49th season, the Northern Ohio Youth Orchestra has been providing the finest orchestral training to the youth of Northern Ohio since 1969. NOYO is a regional orchestral training program that attracts gifted young musicians, ages 8-22, from Toledo to Cleveland. Its ensembles perform three concerts at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. Based in Oberlin, Ohio, NOYO draws its faculty and coaches from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, one of the nations most prestigious conservatories. NOYOs musicians receive excellent education through music from world-class musicians.
