The purpose of the Northwest Georgia Family Crisis Center is to end violence in the home by providing shelter, advocacy, and support to the victims while working in the community to change attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors. The center operates a 24-hour crisis line which makes it possible to provide round-the-clock emergency crisis placement for victims of child abuse and domestic violence.
