Nova Scientia

Nova Scientia (Nova) is one of the largest clubs at the University of Western Ontario. Nova has expanded its capacity to cater students needs, and Novas mission is to provide professional academic and career counseling for students at the University of Western Ontario. Members of Nova comes from diverse faculties of the university, with a common goal of pursuing academic and leadership success. Through conferences, information sessions, study groups, and case competitions; Nova not only seeks to support students study but also provides various industries opportunities. Although Novas main focus is on academics, it does not limit itself in academics. Novas peer guide program also aims to assist international students in their adjustment to the Canadian culture and the university community. Believing that capability is the brick, communication is the glue, belief is the blueprint, and care is the spirit, Nova fosters students breadth, motivation, and self-efficacy
