Nurses and Midwifery Council of Ghana

Who We Are The Nursing and Midwifery Council (N&MC) is a statutory body whose mandate is derived from part III of the Health Professions Regulatory Bodies Act 2013 (Act 857). Until the passage of this Act, the Council operated under NRCD 117 of 1972 and the LI 683. The Council also has a mission to secure in the public interest the highest standard of training and practice of Nursing and Midwifery. N&MC over the years has proved itself by stepping out efforts to build bilateral relations with our clientele to higher levels through dialogue and periodic visitation to its facilities nationwide. N&MC closely ensures the availability of qualified nursing and midwifery professionals who would give competent, safe, prompt and efficient service for client delight.
