Nysmith School

The award-winning Nysmith School is located on 13 acres in Herndon, Virginia, just minutes from Dulles Airport. Established in 1983, Nysmith School currently serves over 600 students from preschool through the eighth grade. The Nysmith School is committed to nurturing each students love of learning while helping them learn to their potential. Our maximum 1:9 teacher to student ratio allows us to diversify math and reading and offers students time with subject area specialists who are deeply committed to helping each child succeed. The daily curriculum includes hands on science, technology, computers, foreign language, social studies, logic, and much more. Daily reading and math classes are diversified up to four grade levels above grade.
