NYU Student Government Assembly

The NYU Student Government Assembly is the representative governing body which advocates for all students, across all global sites, schools, and programs at New York University. The SGA is comprised of three councils, each overseen by a Vice Chairperson, all of whom work closely with the SGA Chairperson to convey student concerns and areas of improvement to the universitys senior leadership, through both the office of the President and the University Senate. The Student Senators Council is comprised of 25 School Senators, representing all graduate and undergraduate schools, and 28 Senators-at-Large, who advocate for marginalized constituencies which are not otherwise represented. The SSC primarily focuses on advocacy efforts and members sit on the University Senate.
