Weve created a new treatment paradigm at OFR that centers around 360 degrees of safety for our clients and their loved ones. It gives them a chance to chance to step out of the chaos, catch their breath and begin the process of recovery and re-building. We do not believe that our clients are broken people. We do believe that they suffer from broken thinking and have fallen into dangerous patterns of behavior. Over time, those patterns become progressively self destructive and cause increasing amounts of collateral damage to loved ones. We believe that trauma - either externally generated or self imposed - is at the root of most (if not all) self destructive behaviors including addiction. Our experience is that trauma is inherently difficult to treat. As a result, we dont paint rainbows, offer false promises or guarantee results to clients or loved ones.
