Founded in 1974, Oak Realty is the Annandale areas oldest real estate brokerage. That year Don Bruggeman purchased and renamed what was Daryl Gunnerson Realty and our red and white leaf was born. Oak Realty operated on Oak Avenue, Annandales Main Street, for many years, developing a reputation as a highly respected and professional real estate company serving the Annandale Area. Dons son Steve joined the business in 1986 and the company continued to grow into the early 90s. In 1996, the company made a move from its location in downtown Annandale to a new, log-sided building on Highway 55, visible as you enter town from the East. Steve purchased the company in 2000, and with each passing year Oak Realty has continued to grow and succeed through an ever-changing market. In 2007, Oak Realty acquired Lake Country Properties and Real Estate in neighboring Maple Lake. Their location will serve as our second office.
