In 1951, Coeurdor, the original family business, produced precious galvanic coatings for major watch brands, then the eyewear sector appeared with highly coloured decorations. For surface preparation needs, it developed the polishing activity in 1983, followed by the lacquering and PVD (Ionitec) activities in 1986 and 1989.
