Office for Climate Education

The United Nations have declared climate change is one of the major challenges of our time. In that context, teachers require educational resources as well as professional development to be able to offer climate change education to their pupils. The Office for Climate Education (OCE) is a foundation hosted by the Fondation La main a la pate to promote climate change education in developed and developing countries. The OCE became an official UNESCO center in 2020 with the aim to organise a strong international scientific, educational and operational cooperation for Climate Change education. The OCE offers to primary and middle schools teachers free and interdisciplinary educational resources, as well as professional development opportunities and field accompaniment based on IPCC Assessment reports and Summaries for policy-makers.
