Okregowa Rada Adwokacka w Warszawie (ORA)

The Warsaw Bar Association (in Polish: Izba Adwokacka w Warszawie) is the association of attorneys for the City of Warsaw. The most important goals of the Warsaw Bar are to cultivate the science of law, to promote law reform, to facilitate the administration of justice and to elevate the standards of integrity, honor, professional skill and courtesy in the legal profession. The Warsaw Bar Association was founded in 1872. With over 140 years of history it is the oldest professional legal association in Poland. The control and administration over the Warsaw Bar Association is vested in the Council of the Bar (in Polish: Okregowa Rada Adwokacka).
