Olimpia Milano

The Olimpia Milan Basketball Club was founded in 1936: in the same year it won its first Italian championship. In its history, Olimpia has won 30 Italian championships, 8 Italian Cups, 3 European championships, 3 Cups of Cup winners, 2 Korac Cups, an Intercontinental Cup and 4 Italian Super Cups, as well as 23 youth championships. It is the most successful Italian club. Five coaches or players affiliated to the Olimpia are part of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame: Cesare Rubini, Sandro Gamba, Dino Meneghin, Bill Bradley and Bob McAdoo. Three jersey numbers have been retired: Arthur Kenneys number 18, Mike DAntonis and Sandro Gambas number 8 and Dino Meneghins number 11.
