Oman Beverly Smyth is the leading Removal, House Moving and Storage Services Company in Ireland. Oman Moving Removals and Storage was established by Patrick Oman in 1969 in a 6,000 sq. ft. premises when the new roll-on, roll-off service to Britain and France opened the way to Europe for removals by motor van. Prior to this, the transport of furniture, fragile and valuable goods had to go to the way of all general cargo - by lift-on, lift-off sea container or loose on the deck of a coaster. Since then, Oman Moving and Storage has made specialised van transport its own niche market using air-ride vans and every innovation which has been developed for safe and secure transport of all manner of consignments such as cantilever tail-lifts, load restraints and the latest material handling equipment.
