At Once Upon A Time Nursery and Montessori School we believe in the uniqueness and individuality of each child. Throughout the duration of a childs attendance at Once Upon A Time, our concern is for their happiness as well as for their physical, emotional and cognitive development. We encourage children to develop their social skills and independence by providing a structured, safe and nurturing environment. In many other childcare facilities parents are not permitted past the waiting area, but at Once Upon A Time we like parents to see their childs environment on the daily basis and therefore operate an open door policy throughout the day. In comparison to many other childcare facilities we are still very homely and small, consequently all our staff get to know each individual child, their parents, and often even extended family members and friends which leads to a friendly, personable environment in which to leave your child.
