Inspiring a better tomorrow Guided by a blended Board of Directors comprised of residents and LTC sector leaders, the Ontario Association of Residents Councils (OARC) is a not-for-profit association that provides education and support to Ontario LTC residents and their respective Residents Councils. Through relationships, education and awareness, OARC assists Residents Councils in improving their effectiveness and sustainability and encourages residents to participate in decisions affecting them. OARC efforts are directly informed by a resident advisory group called REAL (Resident Expert Advisors and Leaders), the members of which are truly experts by experience, lending their voices and sharing ideas
