Ontario Philharmonic

Ontario Philharmonic has become a notable player in the landscape of classical music in Ontario. It has evolved as one of the most exciting orchestras in the Durham Region and Toronto/GTA areas and it has earned its place among the leading performing arts organizations of the province. The orchestra is comprised of players that are among the finest professional musicians in the GTA and it is led by one of Canadas most distinguished conductors on the international scene, Marco Parisotto. The OPs early history began in Oshawa, Durham Region, where it was founded in 1957. Its stellar growth in recent years has won it the acclaim of both critics and audiences.
