The Landestheater Linz (Upper Austrian State Theatre) is performing Music Theatre, Drama, Dance, Childrens and Young Peoples Theatre at three different locations (Musiktheater, Schauspielhaus and Kammerspiele) with various venues from 80 to 1.200 seats in the federal capital of Upper Austria. It is one of the largest cultural institutions in Austria with a history of more than 200 years. More than 800 people coming from 40 different nations are responsible for up to 40 premieres and around 900 performances given to more than 300.000 visitors every year.
