Since our beginning in the basement of the First Baptist Church in 1972, our aim has remained constant: to provide high-quality health care thats affordable, accessible, and efficient. As a Federally Qualified Health Center, Open Door provides top-notch health care to those who are hardest to reach, regardless of their ability to pay. Often we serve patients who may not otherwise have access to care including low-income families and individuals without insurance. Beyond the medical, dental, and behavioral health care provided in our facilities, we promote wellness, good nutrition, stress reduction, and physical activity.
