Orange Fiber is the Italian company that has patented and manufactures sustainable fabrics for fashion from citrus juice by-products. The beauty of mediterranean nature, the creativity of Sicily and the excellence of Made in Italy production are the ingredients of this unique silky and soft material, designed to provide innovation and sustainability to fashion. Following a collaboration with Politecnico di Milano University back in 2012, Orange Fiber developed a process to create a fabric using the leftovers of citrus transformation industry, valuing just in Italy more than 700.000 tons a year, that otherwise would have to be disposed. The innovative process has been patented in 2013 and extended in international PCT the following year. The trademark has been registered and the whole supply chain has been developed choosing strategic partners among the industry excellences.
