ORCA Enviro Systems is committed to having a positive environmental impact by reducing food waste sent to landfill. We work with businesses to enable them to digest food waste on the premises, creating cost savings, greater workflow efficiency for staff, and reduced greenhouse gas emissions, air and water pollution. Each ORCA unit uses aerobic digestion of organic waste - aided by microorganisms - to turn food waste into environmentally-friendly wastewater that flows directly into existing sewage systems on premises. Digesting food waste at the source reduces the need to transport waste to landfill, taking trucks off our roads and reducing CO2 emissions. ORCA reduces the creation of methane gas and water contamination that occurs in landfill. ORCA is currently used across a wide range of settings, including high-end restaurants, international sporting arenas, 5-star hotels, shopping centres, public bars and local grocers.
