Orchestra da Camera

Orchestra da Camera was founded in 1957 by conductor Brian Preistman, with the late Kenneth Page as leader. During its long history the orchestra has developed links with most of the major choirs and choral societies in the Midlands. Many of these organisations still employ the orchestra for their concerts, and we enjoy an enviable reputation for providing a high degree of co-operation and sensitive accompaniment. Over the years, Orchestra da Camera has appeared at numerous concert venues in the Midlands and beyond, including Birmingham Town Hall, Victoria Hall Hanley, Nottinghams Albert Hall, Royal Concert Hall and the cathedrals of Worcester, Gloucester, Hereford, Peterborough, Lincoln, St. Davids, Exeter and Coventry.
