Orlando Family Stage is Central Floridas foremost professional family theatre where audiences of all ages experience the adventure and wonder of watching their favorite stories come to life on stage. With a mission to empower young people to be brave and empathetic by creating quality theatrical experiences, Orlando Family Stage recognizes its obligation to connect students to literature and theatre, and find ways to fill the arts void in local schools and communities particularly those classified as low-income or underserved. The award-winningYouth Academy provides classes and workshops for children, along with professional development opportunities for classroom teachers. Housed in a three-theatre complex in Loch Haven Park, Orlando Family Stage is also home to the University of Central Floridas MFA in Theatre for Young Audiences graduate program, training the next generation of theatre for young audiences leaders - the only program of its kind in the Southeast
