Ormiston Trust

The Ormiston Trust is a national charity, funder, and sponsor of schools in England which aims to improve the life-chances of young people. We believe young people should never be underestimated, so we meaningfully collaborate with our Youth Advisory Council, who guide our focus, activity and decisions. The trust was founded in memory of Fiona Ormiston Murray. When Fiona and her husband tragically died on their honeymoon, her family were devastated. Fiona had loved children, so her father George and brother Peter started a charitable trust in her name. The Ormiston Trust has an interest in supporting young people (particularly those that are disadvantaged) in a variety of ways, including: wellbeing, relationships, agency, careers, life skills, physical health, hobbies, environment, inclusion, targeted support, and love of learning.
