Oromia Credit & Saving S.C. /ocssco/ is one of the leading micro finance institutions in East Africa. The company has been operating in Oromia Regional State which is the largest regional state in Ethiopia for the last one and half decades. Since its establishment, the company has been working to tackle poverty by strengthening economic base of low-income people through increased access to sustainable and cost efficient financial services. It has been providing credit, saving, money transfer and micro insurance services; and many have improved their life with the companys demand based services so far. A large number of citizens, who were previously unemployed, could have now owned their own businesses with the credit service.
