Oromia industrial parks is parts of Government industrialization strategy that emphasizes sectors of high export potential and stronger linkages to agriculture and uses abundant raw resources. Hence, OIP was established at the end of 2008 E.C to develop and manage a world class standardized industrial parks and special manufacturing industry clusters that enhance revenue to the Government. he purpose behind developing Integrated Agro Industry Parks (IAIPs) and their connecting Rural Transformation Centers (RTCs) is to sustain the constantly growing demand of consumers in an environmentally and economically sustainable way. The parks will help businesses grow and boost farmers productivity, all while generating more revenue for the government.
