Orwells Restaurant

Orwells was opened in 2010 by Michelin Star-winning chefs Ryan Simpson and Liam Trotman, inside a pretty pub in rural Oxfordshire, close to Henley-on-Thames. Their ethos is to serve high quality, sustainable food in a relaxed setting. Since opening, Orwells has achieved 4 AA Rosettes, a Michelin Guide Red Plate, a cooking score of 7/10 and are featured in the Good Food Guides Top 50 at number 28, as well as being awarded their Readers Restaurant of the Year and Restaurant of The Year. Orwells has also demonstrated an exceptional standard of sustainability, they are a score of 5/4/3 in Hardens and sit at number 25 in their top 100. Orwells have been inspiring diners since 2010 with their dedication to sustainable, locally grown food. They grow 75% of the restaurants fruit, vegetables and herbs in local polytunnels and only use the best meat and British fish from sustainable sources.
