Otero Ramos Family Winery was born to honor an ancient legacy which started two generations ago in the lands of Galicia, Spain. Towards the end of the 20th Century, Manuel Otero conceived and planned the viticulture, winemaking and tourism project he had thought of for many years through the experience gathered in this activity. He acquired a significant parcel of land in Mayor Drummond, Lujan de Cuyo, at 33o South latitude and situated at an elevation of 900 meters above sea level, on the eastern flank of the Andes Mountains, with hot days, cold nights and little rain. It belongs to Lujan de Cuyo Appellation of Origin. With extraordinary ecological conditions, this place has well deserved the name of First Viticultural and Winemaking Area.
