Ottalaus Salon opened in February 2017. Ottalaus means Fearless in Icelandic and our mantra is Real Beauty is Fearless! The Founder, AnneMarie Krainich was a single mother with Icelandic heritage who felt she needed to be fearless to create her dream salon. AnneMarie had only been a hair and makeup artist for 5 years and wanted to provide a beautiful salon and spa that clients can go to and leave feeling relaxed, pampered in a positive environment that would encourage all clients to feel fearless as they went back to their day to day lives after visiting their stylist. Ottalaus Salon is the official Miss Utah Salon Sponsor! Giving back to the community is something that the team values. In addition, they work closely with the Barbra Barrington Jones Foundation. Ottalaus Salon is always looking for ways to give back to the community.
