Oubari Pharma

Oubari Pharma was founded in 1989 as the first private pharmaceutical company to initiate sterile production in Syria. The Company was producing sterile products under license from European manufacturers such as Rhone Poulenc, Roussel Uclaf, Dr. Mann, and Lisa Pharma. 1994 set a date for Oubaris first exporting initiatives to African and Middle Eastern countries. In 1999, Oubari Pharma became among the first Companies in Syria to be operating on international recognizable standards such as ISO 9001:2008 with highly equipped laboratories and equipment. The year 2000 marked a milestone in the Company history as it relocated its production to a new factory situated in the environmentally and ecologically clean area of Al Zerbeh (20km from Aleppo city). The new premises boasts an area of 50,000 m2 of buildings spread over 120,000 m2 of land and is tailored to comply with GMP requirements.
